Dr. Paul Symeonides, DDS

Do not go to any of his offices! I warn anyone who has him as a dentist. Every time I have gone to his office, he had three to five different patients all being taken care of by him. This, of course, is impossible to do, and would split his time with each patient. For a cavity fill-in, I spent an hour or more. For the first twenty minutes, I was in the waiting room and the remaining time I was waiting for him to care for me. All while he was working on his four other patients. He was trying to perform a root canal on a tooth that did NOT need it. Once, I transferred to a new dentist for the surgery-- I was told that the tooth was not infected. I warn anyone reading this to stay far away from any of his offices!

Dr. Symeonides is a greedy con artist. Do not a trust a word that comes from his mouth. Get a second opinion if he tells you you need any work. I was told that I need a $2,000 root canal for an abscessed tooth with a cracked filling. The tooth was not symptomatic so this seemed odd. Turns out a second dentist said the filling was not cracked and no root canal needed because the tooth was not even infected! Don't give this shyster your money. I reported him the NYS dental board.

Work was done incorrectly and I unfortunately made the mistake of returning to their office to have them fix the filling. Not only did they double charge my insurance, but the work was still done poorly. The "dentist" finally realized that I needed a root canal and sent me to another dentist with a temporary cap. I was charged in full for the root canal because Dr. Symeomides office used all of my dental funds to double charge for work that they did not correctly complete. DO NOT USE HIM!
