I suddenly had horrible pain on the upper left side of my face. Back molar couldn't even be touched, on a Friday night of course. I called Modern Dentistry 1st thing Monday AM and was amazed they could see me the same day.I was waiting to be given pain meds and be told I had to Schedule another appt. to get the tooth pulled, but Dr DeWenter was able to do it then. He also did the dental graft so I can get an implant at a later date.He was extremely skilled and professional. I will continue to see him as my new dentist.They mean it when they advertise they take emergencies,

My son started college on the east side last fall, so we thought that we had found a dentist for him to see while he's attending school. He was supposed to be there for a basic checkup and cleaning. For this we're being charged nearly $400 after insurance! For the same type of exam for myself, my wife, and our other son, this same type of exam is usually either free, or less than $50 if there are any extras. This dentist actually exceeded the insurance limit on x-rays by $200 and had the nerve to charge for "hygiene instruction"! I've been paying bills for dentist visits for decades. I have never seen a dentist charge for "hygiene instruction"! On top of all of that, they tried to talk my son into getting an additional unnecessary procedure. I talked to my son's former pediatric dentist about my son's experience and he was shocked and suggested that we go elsewhere from now on. We certainly will.
