Worst dentist experience ever
I’m 65, this was the worst experience I ever had at a dentistDentist gave me a shot to numb my mouth for a procedure. He really never explained. I’ve had many dental shots to numb my mouth. This was the most painful I have ever experienced. Not just the shot but waiting the pain in my cheek was terrible Once my mouth was supposedly numb. He began the procedure. Procedure hurt me tremendously. he said if he gave me another shot. It would hurt more than what he was doing. Before this, I had x-rays taken, again a terrible experience. I go to the dentist every six months have had many x-rays The way they put the stuff in my mouth to take the numerous x-rays hurt my jaw Dentist hurt my gum area during procedure Hygienist hurt my jaw. I’ve been in pain for days Please do not go to this dentist The girls at the front desk were wonderful. I’ve tried to call the Office Manager and get a hold of her and she does not return my calls. Please do not ever go to this Dentist

I've decided not to use them as my provider. I was told by another patient that the country radio music station that plays in the office non stop, played the uncensored version of "Try That in a Small Town", by Jason Aldean. The patient was in shock & probably won't continue going to a place that makes them this uncomfortable after their situation is resolved. This song and its accompanying video have been strongly accused of promoting racism and gun violence. An easy Google search will explain why. I was very disappointed and hope that the office will consider going with a station that could include jazz, classical, country, pop or anything with no audible lyrics that have the added benefit of not creating a harmful environment. Certain songs very clearly tell people they aren't welcome there. If they make a simple change to this, I look forward to being able to come there and encouraging others to visit as well. I do think it's a nice office with a good physician and delightful staff. I certainly can't quibble with that. But, I can't support alienating more than 55% of the local population. I feel like physician offices are places where everyone should be able to go and feel welcome and I'm so sad this isn't the case yet.

I have been going to the King George office for over 5 years now and I have been very pleased with all aspects of the service during that time. Dr. Cottrell is the 4th dentist I have seen in the last 15 years and he is by far the best. He is courteous and professional, always willing to explain a procedure and clearly states all of the options and risks.

Paid up front for half of braces told them from the start was going to wait until summer now we're moving asked for money back and they are sending it to the step parents and now they the step parents are refusing to pay there half of medical bills all thanks to the dentist office which took a month for them to cut check and we find out through the step parents that all of this was done.

VERY mixed feelings about this practice. Some of the dentists at this office are excellent, but have had a negative experience with Cottrell himself. Likewise, the office staff at the front desk are cheerful, but what appear to be the office managers and billing people in charge of them have been dreadful. Multiple issues with billing foul ups, appointments not being kept, etc. As soon as possible, quitting this practice altogether.
