He might be a good dentist, but I'll never know. His office person Denise was no help ironing out insurance issues. My provider said the doctor was in network. Denise had never heard of them so when she called to verify someone told her "No". After Denise told me that I then called the provider myself and they gave me a special number for the dentist office to call and verify. After informing Denise she then told me, "No, I'm not doing that...." Big help.

I called to schedule an appointment to have a newly broken tooth looked at and gave them my insurance information. They informed me they'd have to check with my insurance. They called me back 3 days later wanting to schedule me an appointment! I went to another dentist who saw me the same day. No thanks.

I seen Dr. Powers this morning as a new patient for an abscess tooth. My time there was very pleasant and he answered all my questions along with Laura Bowes his dental assistant. I was not in there very long and he extracted my tooth that was giving me problems in under a minute. It was a friendly/clean atmosphere and I would highly recommend them. I am not a dentist fan, so for me to have this good experience, this is a good thing.

Dr. Powers did not take his time when doing my procedure. I had a tooth crack after a very small filling was placed and another needed a root canal. Both were small cavities per him. He really messed up my teeth. I would not recommend him.
