Dr. Rick Vu, DDS

Highly recommend. I have been a patient since he came to Pleasant View. The best staff, various assistants, Best I've ever used as a dentist. A nice family man I trust.

First and last time going to Dr Vu. I made an appointment because I had a filling fall out. Dr Vu came in looked in my mouth for 2-seconds and said "I'm not touching it". He told me I needed either an extraction or a root canal but he won't do it. What?! He gave me a referral for another dentist and sent me on my way. I'm not sure what shocks me more, the sour demeanor of the dentist or the fact the "dentist" doesn't do extractions or root canals. I'm shocked by the whole experience.

My son has been a patient of Dr Vu for years. I took him in for an emergency visit for having severe tooth pain. They called him back pretty quickly and about 10 mins later he comes out with a sheet of paper referring him to a endodontist. No diagnosis, instructions nor did he come out and talk to me at all. I went to the receptionist confused and asked what was going on and she said I would need to call and set up a appt with the specialist. I then asked what we were supposed to do in the meantime because he was in so much pain. She walked back and got him a prescription for a antibiotic. I immediately called the specialist and they couldn’t get him in until the next day. My son was in excruciating pain by that afternoon so I called Dr Vu’s office and asked if they had something for his pain. They called in a mild pain medication. To top it off, they never checked to see if the specialist took my insurance…which they did not. Here it is 3 days into this, still no relief
