Dr. Robert Desroches, DDS

I told him I didn't want root canals on two teeth (small cracks) bcuz Im paying out of pocket so he convinced me to let him grind down the already filled teeth and put a new coating on to get a few more years of use out of these two back molars. I trusted him. Of course the first tooth was badly infected and had to be removed. I felt he didn't want me to leave without me spending more money so instead of having the tooth pulled initially at minimal expense he wanted to refill an old rotten tooth. Because it failed, he then sent me to oral surgeons bcuz I trusted that is where I needed to go. Ended up being simple extractions that my previous dentist could have done. I'm sure DesRoches didn't want to pull them cuz I was so upset about the rotten tooth. And he had the gall to charge me over $300 for the one tooth.

I was looking through some of my communications and noticed a letter from Dr DesRoches dated Oct. 2020 about the breakdown of communications in our patient doctor relationship. The breakdown started when he told me what he wanted to do vs what I wanted him to do. I would not go back to him and I would not refer anybody to him. My advice to anyone who seeks a dentist or a physician is if what they want to do to you is different from what you want done : RUN.
