Dr. Robert Kneib, DMD

I was seen by Dr. Kneib for a tooth extraction on 4-19-23. I continued to have pain after the area healed. I called for an appointment to be seen 4 months later as suggested by my family dentist. I was denied an appointment and told there were no openings available. I continued to have intermittent pain which gradually increased in intensity. At my dentist's urging, I was referred to an oral surgeon who refused to see me until I was evaluated by Dr. Kneib. Again, I was refused an appointment and told they were too busy, short-staffed and it had been too long since I had the extraction. It didn't seem to matter that I was in pain ever since the procedure was done! Instead, they sent a referral to an oral surgeon without ever seeing me in the office. I was appalled at their refusal to follow-up with me after I paid over $700 to have 1 tooth removed. The oral surgeon's office told me their fee would have been $250-300! Just be warned. I was treated very badly by this dentist and office staff!

Never a long wait! Needed an emergency visit for a broken tooth, in and out in 2 hrs! Looks exactly like my actual tooth. Excellent work, friendly staff!

Rude and condescending dentist. Put up with it for a couple years until my last visit- had an abscessed tooth and he commented that because I’m older (I’m 66) that I was probably forgetting to brush my teeth (I’ve never forgotten to brush my teeth.) Focus seems to be on making money with expensive, unnecessary tests and procedures and are unhappy if you say no. Will never go back.

I love Dr Kneib and his staff! I have had anxiety about going to the dentist, for years. I have no anxiety at this office. Could not be happier!

Dr. Kneib is a world class dentist and a also great person. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Kneib spent a considerable amount of time with me and was able to detect the source of my discomfort when other dentists were not able to. And effectively explained it to me and provided a solution. Also has a very courteous and professional staff. Without a doubt the best dentist in Erie.

Probably the rudest dentist I have ever experienced.

Awful now that I look back on it. I had one tooth that hurt, I walked away with an 1800 dollar bill. No root canal, no cap, just a filling. I had no insurance so I paid with a credit card that they conveniently had me sign up for right in the office.
