Dr. Robert Shick, DMD

I think there could be no better dentist and human being that Dr. Robert Shick. I see him on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where he practices dentistry on Tues and Thur every other week and one day a week the other week. He's kind, consummately professional, caring and expert. He accepts all insurance and dental plans to make dentistry accessible and takes care in his work. What's so unusual about him is tha the makes no attempt to sell unnecessary services, even suggests buying a mouthguard at a drugstore which is cheaper than a custom one. Turns down a job for veneers if he thinks a patient will break them due to hard biting, when other dentists I've seen all recommended them without regard to my particular case. Dr. Shick could make a lot of money doing this cosmetic work but is honest which is rare in this day and age. He's a goldmine of a human being. Bedside manner is extraordinary. Definitely a destination dentist.
