Dr. Ronald Cherney, DDS

My mom had been a client since she was a child. Several years ago, she suggested to Dr. Cherney he crown her top front tooth since it kept chipping & until then he was only using bondo. He agreed & suggested to crown all four teeth, not just the one, since crowning only one would look inconsistent. By doing this procedure he filed her four front teeth down to the size of TOOTHPICKS. Due to this poor insight and the bite of her lower jaw being off, hitting the top teeth (unseen by Dr. Cherney), the crowns would consistently crack and break. When they broke he would only replace the one (another misstep by a dentist). According to other dentists, she consulted, he shouldn't have filed her teeth down to such a small, weak size nor replaced the crowns one by one, because porcelain changes from batch to batch. What he should have done was use stronger porcelain, fix her bite & replaced all the crowns at once. She had to get them redone by another Dr. It was traumatizing to say the least.
