Dr. Ronald Cummings, DDS

Last seen in this office February 2020. Office closed suddenly no advance notice. Received a letter from Cummings office indicating I would receive a refund. As of March 18, 2021, I have not received a refund. He need to reimburse my insurance company $500 or return the check. Also he need to reimburse me for money drafted from my account each month. He wanted to get paid every month now I want my refund. I have been patient long enough. We will meet in Small claim court. Does anyone know his address do he can be served? JG

Orthodontist stopped seeing patients in March 2020. No information provided except recording on phone, indicating the practice was closed due to COVID. This went on for months. Finally, in July 2020, the practice phone’s recording indicated that orthodontist was closing practice. Received two subsequent letters, thanking us for patience while the practice figured out what money would need to be refunded on accounts. (We hadpre-paid IN FULL for fees not covered by insurance.)Finally received a very small check with no real accounting for how the total was reached. Based on time in treatment, the refund amount should have been more. I have emailed at least three times and have never received a reply. It’s truly horrible how this practice has treated its patients. We are now receiving treatment elsewhere and had to pay an additional $2,100 to finish the treatment. There is the distinct feeling that he no longer cares. And during a pandemic to boot. What a bad way to go out and retire.

I also have received no recent communication and no account statement or refund. The lack of communication is stunningly unprofessional.

We have tried on multiple occasions to reach Cummings For non completion of orthodontist work Our son has been in braces for over three years and due to orthodontist incompetence and practice closing our son is still in braces with a new orthodontist and a new bill

Closed office and continued to bill. Promised a full refund and then no contact and sent only a small portion back.

Poor- where is our refund? I paid $2600 and insurance paid their share!! Now you are retired and my kid still has his braces on and we have to seek another orthodontist! Which is price is $1300 up front!! This is BS!! I will be seeking further action if I do not receive my refund! Not to mention his braces have been on since September 2017
