Additional charges although 'in network' - BEWARE
If you're part of the Cigna PPO (retired NYPD), need a root canal and it's a molar tooth you will be charged an additional $195 for a special scan required by the Doctor. You cannot opt out of this scan. Therefore I would consider this office NOT 'in-network'. Go somewhere that they truly accept your coverage.

Dr Sherman and his staff where very professional and friendly. He explained the procedure and was very gentle and I felt no pain at all. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

My appointment was with Abram Borukh. My 5 year old daughter went to Mr. Borukh for a root canal. He was amazing. He explained everything that he was going to do, keeping her calm. It was a great experience. He is now my daughter's dentist.

Dr. Sherman was very friendly and I did not feel any pain. Also I was able to work the next day without suffering from a swollen face. There was no pain after the procedure. Great Doctor and I would recommend him to any one.
