She also followed up with me after the procedure to make sure everything was good and to answer any questions I might have had. Our 52 year old special needs son had some very complex dental issues resulting from years of tooth grinding. The issues required surgery as part of a lengthy process to resolve the problems and restore his teeth. Dr. Chang and Dr. Uchil, the referring, doctor worked together closely to resolve our son's problems. This periodontist office does the best thorough cleanings and is very caring; they take time to understand and remedy my issues. Dr. Chang made mouth guards for me so I would stop grinding my teeth at night and took good care of my periodontal issues. She also referred me to a specialist to fix an old crown that was giving me discomfort. I also send my teenage boys to her office to get their teeth cleaned because the hygienists are that amazing. Dr. Chang is a a true professional who really cares about her patients. I trust her to provide the best service for me and my family.

Truly an artisan at her craft! If you were referred to Dr Chang for care you are in expert hands. Bone grafts for your jawbone are not transplanted from your own bone but from material mixed with growth factors. I did not experience any pain during my surgery as Dr Chang rubs a numbing gel into your gum before injecting the anesthetic. So I didn’t even know when she inserted the needle into my gums to inject the anesthetic before performing the surgery. She is familiar with the major oral surgeons and orthodontists in the Ann Arbor area. This office exemplifies the model of professional staff, and they all work as a team with each person carrying out their role well. The dental hygienist is very good and gives excellent instructions for caring for your teeth, and postop care. You will be grateful that you were referred to Dr Chang’s office.
