Dr. Sandra Embree, DDS

I spent years being afraid of the dentist, but after I switched to Dr. Embree, I can breathe a lot more easily. It was the easiest filling I’ve ever had in my life. No pain, quick, and she kept me informed during the whole process. I’m really glad I made this change and won’t be so afraid of going to the dentist anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Embree for over twelve years, and, in that period, have always benefited from superb dental care and the highest level of professionalism. Her medical judgement is very solid, and this has allowed me to navigate several tricky situations where I could have otherwise lost teeth or sustained serious complications. Just as important as her sound recommendations for treatment strategies has been her restraint in making recommendations for various treatments. She is very careful to recommend what is truly needed for good dental hygiene, without over-prescribing procedures that are actually not indicated. For these reasons, she has earned my unqualified trust and confidence. Without question, she is the best dentist that I have encountered and similarly, she is one of the best dentists in Southeastern Michigan.

I appreciate that Dr. Embree consults with me when there are choices whether to wait and see or take action right away. The technicians are all skilled and understanding about human foibles. The desk staff are efficient.

I have only been to this office a few times after my dentist of nearly 30 years retired. So far, I like the office and the staff - and I don't feel like they are recommending unnecessary services which was one of my fears leaving my old dentist.

The office is very clean and the decor is adorable! From the front office staff to the doctors you could not ask for a more friendly and helpful group of women! They are very professional and provide a lot of dental knowledge to their patients. The exams and cleanings are very thorough but gental. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

I was required to complete an exceedingly long health questionnaire prior to visit. Was asked for social security number which I refuse to give. Hygienist did not introduce herself, told me she would be doing an x-ray (I refused), did not show me the results of the cleaning (I had to ask), did not floss, and basically did a less than adequate job. She did not seem to take any pride in her work. If I return it will be for an appointment with another hygienist.
