Poor Experience
The Plainview office was newly established, clean, and had a friendly staff.However, Dr. Sharon Essner made me and my son uncomfortable. She never greeted, looked or acknowledged me during each of our 3 visits, but I overlooked it, hoping she'd be kind and take good care of my son.Unfortunately, during our last visit, she handled my son roughly while flossing, causing his head to shake violently. Afterwards, her assistant seemed shocked as well.After we got home and the effects of the laughing gas had worn off, my son mentioned that his gums hurt, and I saw a slight cut on his gums, likely caused by Dr. Essner's flossing.I did not research reviews about Dr. Sharon Essner beforehand, but after this incident, I found a similar negative review posted from her previous location at The Smile Station in Jericho.I hope my review helps other parents make an informed decision when selecting a pediatric dentist for their child near the Plainview area.

I took my son in to see Dr. Essner it was an excellent experience for him. Dr Essner was fantastic!!! i highly recommend this office.
