Dr. Sheldon Ramai, DDS

I would like to acknowledge how appreciative I am for the treatment I received from Dr. Ramai at Neibauer Dental Care in Fredericksburg, VA. I cannot thank him enough for working through a very difficult situation with me. I would highly recommend this office.

Not much done with a check of implant. Scheduled replacement for June, 2022

Was seen by Dr. Ramai in June 2020 for a crown and he severely burned the inside of my mouth with a faulty drill that got really hot. I was numb inside my mouth so I didn't feel right away. It left a burn deep inside my cheek to the flesh. Would not recommend this doctor or his practice!

I would recommend Dr. Ramai to anyone. He and his staff are very professional and friendly, always greeting me with a smile, explaining the procedures to me, and having head and neck cancer, taken extra care in see to it that I was comfortable at all times. We all know that procedures cost, and they do all they can, working with you and getting pre approved verification from the insurance company if you ask. I have never been disappointed in the last 10 years. He does not try to sell me things I don't really need and at my age I know the difference. If anyone needs a true professional with a team that focuses on your needs. Dr. Ramai is the one you want and his crew at Neibauer is the best.

Been there for a tooth extraction, all was well until I looked further at the bill afterwards. They had verbally stated to me if I wanted a Bone Graft since I was pulling my tooth to save the bone area and of course I'm convinced, so I agreed. Apparently in that "Bone Grafting" they also had invoiced me "Guided Tissue Regeneration" which apparently insurance was supposed to pick up the cost of it, GTR was never brought to my attention. Now I'm stuck with an additional bill of $158.50 Misleading!

The people were friendly and the exam was thorough. I did not like all the x-rays that they were trying to give me so opted out on some of those. Also, I felt like I was being sold products which I had no interest in. This was a concern of mine going to a dentist that is affiliated with a larger corporation. I felt it was more about selling and making money.

Dr Ramai, Lindsay, and Ophelia were exceptional! I have sensitivity and unexpectedly needed a root canal. They were compassionate and sensitive to my needs as I have long term issues with gum disease. I was there for more than 4 hours! Claire and Amy assisted with dual insurance issues and were also phenomenal. It was the best visit in quite a while because of their caring and concern. Thank you!

I have dental phobia. Dr. Ramai has given me total confidence in his care and abilities. Strongly recommend.
