Dr. Sheryl Pomerance, DDS

Dr. Pomerance provides the most advanced options for dental work to patients. She seems like a very knowledgeable dentist and her hygienists are exceptional. Her office staff is very rude. They are all about the money and do not make you feel like a human being only a paycheck. My appointments are always rushed. The office staff make me feel as if I am bothering them by asking questions about my treatment plan or payments (which are both extensive). They also make you pay exorbitant amounts PRIOR to appointments even when you have great dental coverage. This office also charges for the full price up front and then files a claim with insurance. I think they are trying to collect twice which really makes me question the integrity of this establishment. I hope they change their practices.

Dr. Pomerance helped me BEFORE I was her patient. She is much, much more than a DDS. She is a lifelong learner and uses improved methods and technology. As a patient I was very happy with her, the work, and the office. I have moved to FL and hope Dr. P does too!

I have never been as happy with a dentist as I am with Dr. Pomerance. Her treatment plan is aggressive, but I need that and she always takes the time to explain to me what she is doing and why it is necessary. She recommended a sleep study and I now have an oral appliance that treats my sleep apnea as well as my bruxism! Also, somehow she always manages to make me feel like her favorite patient.

Dr. Pomerance is both professional and compassionate. I have been going to her office for several years and in that time, I have gotten over my fear of dentists. I was also able to avoid gum surgery due to Dr. Pomerance’s ability to detect and treat the risk factors I had, including periodic bleeding of my gums. Her office is welcoming and I am glad that she is my dentist.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Pomerance and before the appointment, I asked several times about any antibiotic or pain pills and was just told to take an over the counter pain pill, no antibiotics. I developed a severe infection in my mouth, resulting in a hard sack of puss forming and then exploding in my mouth and when I called her to let her know what was happening, she had the nerve to tell me I was wrong for not taking antibiotics, which she had never prescribed or given me.
