Over many years as patients, we saw priorities shift from patient welfare to profits.To recap our last experience before leaving:1 My wife had ongoing issues with a crown. The temporary came off (not unusual). She showed up on a Monday AM to have it replaced and was told she should have made an appointment (Isn't this an emergency?) When the permanent crown was installed, Dr. Desai couldn't be bothered to do it herself; she had the technician do it - after all the previous difficulties.2 We were charged for x-rays after being told they were covered by THEIR in-house insurance. Later, they held our records hostage and demanded payment for these x-rays when we requested that our records be sent to our new dentist.3 Rates for services are over the industry standards. (do your own research).4 Lisa, the 'Care Coordinator', is rude, sarcastic and unprofessional.5 After retiring, we purchased Delta Dental ins. They refused it, saying we were 'new patients'. RUN...don't walk away!!

HORRIBLE service, they only want your money, be very careful with this clinic!!! They tell you a price and then you get a totally different bill, and the service is horrible, I don't recommend it, they are not professionals!!

My husband went in for teeth cleaning. Front desk wants a credit card on file. My husband refused. We have been with them for 10 years and never had not shown up. He signed the paper he would pay the $75 if he didn’t show up. I can understand with new patients but why expect us to give a credit card number on file. Then she was going to not file his dental insurance I’d he didn’t give to her. He wanted to talk to dentist personally and the girl, Lisa said the dentist was too busy and ask him to leave! Do not go to this dentist office! Im so upset he was treated that way. I went a month or so ago but she wasn’t there to threaten me! I like the dentist and the hygienist but will never go back again! So sad!

The front desk has atrocious customer service. Yesterday I signed a paper agreeing to a $75 fee if I ever failed to cancel an appointment more than 24 hours in advance or fail to show up. I have never missed an appointment but had no problem signing. I did refuse to fill out the part asking for full credit card information including security code. I didn't feel secure having those on a piece of paper. My insurance covers cleanings 100% and this office is in network. After the cleaning procedure and x-rays I went to the front desk to check out and was told the bill was $453.00. The bill should have been $22 for the optional fluoride treatment. I was told that since I refused to give them my credit card details on the paper for them to keep I could file the insurance claim myself. She said they only file insurance as a courtesy. After arguing they finally agreed to charge $156.00(in network price) and I still have to file insurance myself. My family of 5 won't be back.

I moved to Florida and I really miss Dr. Desai. She was my dentist when living in North Richland Hill in Texas. She and her staff always did a fine job with every visit to her office. I have yet to find a dentist here in Florida that I like nearly as well Dr. Desai.

Dr. Sonya is a very competent Dentist. She is skilled at her job and attentive to her patients. Her office staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend her for your dental needs.

I was quite put off after my first visit. During my entire procedure, Dr. Desai and her assistant kept talking smack about a patient and another dentist in the area. Highly unprofessional.

Excellent Staff. Did not experience any discomfort or pain with my treatment. Dr. Desai was very gentle and calmed my severe anxiety about being in Dentist offices. Highly recommend.
