I am a phobic patient and Dr. Barlas always deals superbly with my anxiety. He explains everything well, asks a lot for feedback and has a calm and caring way of getting me through treatments.
Today I called for a filling that came out and he fixed it the very same day.
Staff is genuinely nice and supportive too, I feel like I’m part of family.

God sent - We have been with Dr. Barlas for over 20 years. First time it was an emergency for my son who was in excruciating pain the whole night. He took him in first thing and took care of his concern right away. All of our family has been with him since. He is highly skilled and has excellent staff. I broke my tooth recently. Couldn't sleep in pain and anxiety. He took me in and explained everything. I had to have my tooth pulled. I have low tolerance for pain but was fine throughout.

Dr. Barlas is an extraordinary incredible AMAZING dentist. I have been going to him for approximately eight years. I first came to his office with a series of complex dental issues ~ ALL of which he resolved beautifully. Restoring my teeth to absolute perfection. Cannot overstate how much I highly recommend Dr. Barlas. He and his staff are warm and friendly - completely professional, always making me feel calm and comfortable. He saved the health of my teeth and in so doing - my smile.

Dr Barlas and his staff are amazing. I have been a patient for about 17 years and now live in Libertyville but still drive to Des Plaines for my dental work. I can't imagen going to any other dentist. I have recommended them to several people who continue to see them.
under 'Total wait time' I selected under 10 minutes. I don't think I have ever waited even close to 10 minutes. I also try to be there on time.

Dr Barlas and his team have converted an extremely anxious and nervous who was petrified of going to the dentist into a relaxed patient who now has no looks forward to seeing the whole team and going to the dentist!

I've been going to Dr. Spiro Barlas for my dental needs for the past 20 years. He is one of the best dentists out there! An added plus is an efficient and friendly staff. My bi-annual teeth cleaning and check up always goes smoothly with absolutely no hassle or stress. The hygienist is very skilled, gentle and friendly.
I highly recommend Dr. Barlas and his staff!

Dr. Barlas has been my dentist for several years, at NorthShore Evanston hospital where I was employed. After retiring in May, 2018, I was happy to know that I could still see him in his own private practice in Niles, which is still very convenient for me. He is the best dentist I ever had, and his hygenist Damien and Irma, his assistant are the best, as well as his office staff. I would highly recommend him to all my friends. Everyone is friendly, courteous and efficient.

Our entire family (over 18 members) have all been patients of Dr. Barlas for over 25 years. My kids, now ages 29 and 32, have been seeing Dr. Barlas since they were 3 and 6. I've watched them grow into Dr. Barlas' chair! Dr. Barlas and his team, Damien, Carol, Irma and Margie are all caring professionals and we are all grateful that they care for our dental needs.
