Dr. Thomas Bitner, DDS

This office once was a welcoming, friendly environment to bring our kids to. They never complained about going to the dentist until the last few years. The office staff are less than kind. My biggest problem other than the dentist himself is the waiting room which is full of political propaganda and religious material where books, and toys once were. The dentist was actually mean to my child and I feel weird saying that but, he was so unfriendly and rough. My son won’t go back. If they didn’t take state insurance I strongly feel this place wouldn’t be standing. It’s unfortunate the son couldn’t carry over the wonderful practice his dad started. We look forward to finding a new dentist.

My 3 yr old son suffered trauma to his 2 front teeth and had 2 baby root canals which Dr. John performed. My son had to be wrapped like a papoose while he was wide awake with no anesthesia or medication of any kind; that was his very first experience at the dentist. Fast forward a few months when my son had his very first cleaning and exam… the hygienist was amazing and did her best to keep him calm so that he wouldn’t associate the dentist with his original traumatic experience. Then Dr. John came in, which by that point my son didn’t want to sit in the chair and he was crying - he had enough of people poking around in his mouth. Dr. John’s first question was “did he suffer trauma to these front teeth?” ! Um, not only did he perform them but why didn’t he review my son’s chart before walking in to see him?!?! He then proceeded to tell me to have my son straddle me so I could pin his arms down while the Dr checked his teeth in his lap, without even attempting to build some report with

Between me and my 3 siblings we never had a cavity before or after seeing Dr. Bitner. Each of us had numerous cavities the one time we saw him. Guy is a crook!!

Dr. Bittner did not take the time to explain a procedure to me or my wife before doing a procedure that will require years of extensive dental work to correct. Dr. Bittner Over books his appointments and doesn't allow enough time for the patients. There are much better practices in the area

I needed to find a new dentist. Made an appointment at Dr. Bittner's office and was very happy with my over all experience. Dr. Bitter and the office personal were very helpful and professional. I am glad I found a great dental office.
