Dr. Thomas Hodge, DDS

Dr. Hodge removed 19 of my husband's teeth for dentures, pulling the teeth and providing dentures on the same day. When we got home, my husband's mouth was still bleeding from the tooth extraction. We changed the gauze provided to stop the bleeding, but the next morning, he was still bleeding. I called the emergency number given for post-op care at around 8:30 am, but did not receive a call back from Dr. Hodge. When I called the clinic at 9 am, they advised me to put a wet cloth in his mouth and asked us to come in at 11 am. Due to the severity of the situation and the amount of blood lost, I decided to call 911 instead of bringing him in. The ambulance took my husband to the ER (code 3) where he was hooked up to several machines, and his condition was critical. He had to be transferred to a different hospital for intensive care. Despite this traumatic experience, we have not received any communication from Dr. Hodge or Aspen Dental regarding the out-of-pocket expenses that insurance d
