Dr. Thomas Magnani, DDS

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Magnani's since 1991 (30 years). When he starts singing while he's drilling and asking you questions, (when you couldn't answer anything he asks with all the instruments in your mouth), it just makes you laugh. My kids grew up with his practice. So they don't know what it is to have a filling (since they've never had one), thanks to his incredible hygienists. His practice is really focused on educating their patients to care for their teeth, to avoid the need for more dentistry. But when you do need a dentist Magnani is the very best and the only dentist I would ever trust to work on my teeth. He truly cares about his patients, LOVES his work, and it shows!

I have been a patient of Dr. Magnani's for six years, always paid my bills in full and promptly. Last night a crown and adjacent filling that he put on in July 2013 both came out while I was flossing my teeth. I called him and he graciously said come right in on Monday and he'll fix it. I came in today and he fixed the crown and filling, spending extra time because the tooth had cracked beneath the crown. I understood that he would cover the cost of his work, a crown that had come out in 6 years. When I was leaving, the assistant initially told me I owed $1900. I asked to speak with Dr. Magnani and asked him why he was charging me $1900 for his own work on a crown lasted only 6 years. He became loud and disrespectful, calling me "insane" in front of his daughter who was sitting next to him. He proceeded to blame me for breaking the tooth under the crown. Only after 5 minutes of heated discussion did he acknowledge that he should have installed a post initially in 2013.

The finest dental practice in New York! After years of neglect on my part (and a few poor dentists) I found Magnani. A couple of bridges later, I wish I had found him decades ago, his group of extraordinary hygienists keep your mouth in proper condition and if you encounter problems, you could find no better talent. Am immensely grateful for all their work.

Wish I could provide more than 5 stars! Been a patient of Dr. M ‘s since 1983. I travel over 60 miles twice a year to see him and his staff of professionals. I actually look foward to seeing my dentist! I have dental coverage but pay out of pocket because of the confidence I have in Dr M and his office!

Dr Magnani is knowledgable,funny, and awesome. His staff is on point and csring. This practice has been handling my pearly whites for over twenty years and my smile still sparkles!
