You make every visit so comfortable, calm and relaxing…You explain everything step by step which is so important and calming as well. Can you ever imagine a parent with two children arguing in a dentist office because they each wanted to be first to see the dentist? Unbelievable right? Well not at this place . I personally witnessed this at my last visit. And I can understand why. I never thought going to the dentist could be an enjoyable visit. The office staff is very pleasant. The environment from the music to the decor even on the ceiling is there to provide an awesome experience for the patient. What really is compelling is the dedication, competence and compassion of Dr Tom. He is meticulous when giving injections, and treats people as he would his own family. It’s as if you’re talking to a trusted friend. I have seen several dentists in my lifetime and he is by far the best.

Mauceri Dental has gone more than above and beyond to protect their patients in these unprecedented health crisis times. During my August 2020 routine appointment, I felt very secure that the office researched and implemented best stop-Cv19-spread practices that met and exceeded ADA recommendations. The office door’s Stop and Call Sign, Dr. Tom taking temperature and escorting to exam room, his explaining the thick vinyl “door”, in-room HEPA filter, modified tools and cleaning between patients to decrease the amount of aerosolized particles were extremely reassuring practices. Many of my friends say the only changes their dentists made were signs on every other waiting room chair! Thank you, Dr. Tom for keeping your patients safe!!

Dr. Mauceri is a God send! He has been my dentist for at least ten years and he has been amazing. He treats all his clients like family. Most recently, I developed excruciating tooth pain that was keeping me awake and unable to do anything - eat, sleep or concentrate on anything but the pain. I called Dr. Tom and he insisted that I come to see him immediately. He found a crack in my tooth and referred me to dental surgeon who he ensured would see me on the same day, and I was never charged for Dr. Tom’s visit. When the surgeon claimed he could not find the crack, Dr. Tom insisted it was there and would not give up until the Dental surgeon found it. I give Dr. Tom Mauceri an A+, 5 * s Thanks Dr. Tom!

Dr. Mauceri has been my dentist for the last 5+ years. Through that time I have come to see that he is not only a great dentist, but also a great person. During this COVID-19 pandemic Dr. Mauceri and his team have really taken it to another level. They implemented so many changes to the office to ensure it is a safe environment for everyone involved that I was taken aback. In room air purifiers/filters, plexiglass partitioning, temperature scans and COVID questionnaires to name a few. Once again proving Dr. Mauceri and his team are the best.

Have been a patient of Dr. Tom for over 20 years. Have referred many family and friends to his practice as well. He is a fantastic dentist who takes a very realistic approach to treatment, and always has his patient's best interest in mind. Caring, warm, professional. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tom for nearly 20 years and he truly is the best. When it comes to the occasional cavity you are in the best hands. Dr. Tom is the only provider that consistently administers novacaine correctly, the first time, without needing additional injections. I struggled with other provider who either numbed your entire head or needed to re-inject numerous times. I wish I would have found Dr. Tom sooner!!!

Dr Tom is the best. He is professional as well as a caring Dr. He went out of his way to actually call me on a Sunday due to a dental emergency. He is always smiling and available in time of need. Dr Tom is awesome And I would highly recommend him . I am lucky to have him as MY dentist! The office is beautifully decorated with fish , plants etc ??

I have been going to Dr Tom for about 10 Yrs from a referral from a friend. That referral was the best choice I made even though I have a hr drive. Dr Tom make you feel very comfortable and it shows in his work. He is a great communicator of his practice and thorough and detailed to his patients needs.

Dr. Tom is just fabulous! He is warm,kind,and an excellent dentist! My husband and I have gone to him for many years! My adult children who spent their childhood years going to their aunt for care now also go to Dr. Tom... they continue to be blessed with just wonderful dental experiences with Dr Tom! Not too many people can say that! Most importantly though .. I trust his knowledge and judgment! I know he keeps up on the latest techniques and is always available for emergencies.. He calls you back himself !! His office is super clean and his front desk are like family! Can’t wait for my next visit??

Have no fear , Dr. Tom is here ! Some children and adults may avoid a dental office but NOT Mauceri Dental in Garden City. For over 25 years, I have traveled 1 hour 30 minutes from the Hamptons to seek dental treatment from Dr. Tom. He is gentle, honest, and really knows his profession. You forget you are actually in a dental office with all the cool Surfing, Fishing and colorful Art work to look at. The office is kept in impeccable condition by Cathy and Karen, Dr Tom’s office assistants. On occasion in an emergency, the ladies have made accommodations, to fit me in. Recently , the office has been modified with all new protective fixtures and sanitary equipment. Not only did this show the professional standard of Mauceri Dental , but it showed the concern and commitment Dr. Tom has for his patients, staff and his practice during the Covid 19 pandemic. No matter what the dental procedure you may need, Dr. Tom is the one to See!

I've been a patient of Dr. Tom for over 25 years. He makes you feel comfortable, has a great sense of humor, answers all questions, and explains all procedures. His hours are flexible and it is easy to get appointments. He even treated my husband (not his patient) at night in an emergency situation. His staff is friendly and capable. He has just gone above and beyond in preparing his office to open up after the Covid-19 outbreak. He and his brother, Anthony, are taking all possible precautions to keep his patients and staff safe as the dental world reopens. I can't recommend him more highly.

I actually look forward to my dentist appointments with Dr. Tom because he takes time to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. He is thorough with his work and shows that he cares. As you can tell by his office, he is an avid surfer and car buff. His partner and brother Anthony is also very nice. Karen and Kathy at the front desk are so sweet and very helpful. Appointments are flexible and I’ve never waiting more than 5 minutes to be seen. Overall and very pleasant experience.

Dr. Thomas Mauceri has been my family dentist for nearly my entire adult life. Dr. Tom has made keeping his patients' teeth as functional and healthy as possible his passion and mission in life. It's obvious that he doesn't see dentistry as his "job"; it is more about being a calling for him. Although I try to do the right thing, I have not been the best when it comes to having great oral hygiene. Dr. Tom has always been subtle about what I need to do, but never judgmental; like the saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". Despite my shortcoming, Dr. Tom has gone way above and beyond to restore my teeth to full function in the most conservative and least intrusive ways possible. He and his office staff (and his brother Dr. Anthony) are true friends to all of their patients. People walk in and out of the office with a happy smile. In summary, Dr. Tom is a one in a million find when it comes to having a great dentist.

In the past I had feared going to a dentist . But I must say Dr Tom Mauceri has changed my outlook and experience, with his kind, gentle bedside manner and technique. He was excellent . I was referred by a friend who was aware of the extensive work I needed. I am happy I found Dr Tom and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I recently moved back to the area and needed a dentist I could trust and Dr. Mauceri came highly recommended. The appointment and waiting process was a breeze, but it was Dr. Mauceri that put my mind at ease. He is extremely dedicated to making sure that his patients are fully aware of what is going to transpire as well as offering state of the art dental care. I can't say enough about Dr.Mauceri and his staff. The only place to take your teeth.

I don't usually have the time to write reviews regarding dentists or doctors for that matter, but I've been going to Dr. Tom for the last twenty years which is saying something considering I reside on the island of Guam. Yes, they have dentists on the island, but Dr. Tom is nothing less than exceptional which is why I wait until I'm back in the area for my check-ups and treatments. Not only is Dr. Mauceri extremely knowledgeable he makes going to the dentist an interesting adventure.

A friend at work suggested I see Dr. Mauceri a few years ago when I was looking for a new dentist. She had always told me about how wonderful Dr. Mauceri was and now I know first hand. He is so thorough and takes the time out to explain everything. I never leave his office with any unanswered questions. I suggest Dr. Mauceri to anyone who may need a new dentist. I couldn't be happier with the care that I receive from Dr. Mauceri and his staff.
