He did oral surgery and closed the incision crooked. There is a ridge along three teeth on the outside surface of my gums. And a corresponding gap between the crowns on those teeth and the gums on the inside surface of my gums. It's now very hard to keep those teeth properly cleaned. I went in and complained and was told this kind of thing happens, and that I would have to recrown those teeth in order to close the gap. No offer of help with the cost!

I had to see him a lot in the last two years for gum and bone grafts along with extractions. He's friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and cares about his patients.

He made the grave mistake of adding bone graft at the same time he extracted a tooth. As a result, the graft didn't take and when I went to get an implant, there was pus and I had to wait another three months. For this, he charged $2000.

Dr. Yun is truly the best periodontist out there. His chair side manner says it all. He was very calming and put me at ease. He is very good at what he does and would highly recommend Dr. Yun to my friends and loved ones if they need implants or gum surgery.

I have had several dental implants and root canals and would not go to anyone else, but Dr. Yun. My first implant was with another surgeon and it was the most unpleasant dental experience I have ever had, so I was thrilled to find a Periodontist who is as skilled and KIND as Dr. Yun. His chair-side manner makes an already stressful situation so much more calming. Dr. Yun travels to different facilities and when his schedule doesn't put him at my regular dental office, then I travel to him.

If it's possible to have a good experience with an extraction and implant, I did. I was able to see Dr. Yun a day after I fractured my tooth, which was a bit of luck as he works at different locations on various days. The procedure was completely pain free. He explained everything throughly. 24 hours after the procedure, the pain and swelling are minimal. I had a bit of a wait in the exam room, but that was understandable as my procedure was a late addition to the schedule.
