I was a patient at this office for around 38 years (assuming my parents first took me to the dentist when I was around three years old or so when it was Dr. Raven's practice). More and more often, the office started to schedule a cleaning and an exam for me, but on the day I would arrive, the dentist was not at the office so there was no dental exam performed. At one point, I waited three six month cycles before being seen by the dentist for an actual exam (though I was always seen by the hygienist for a cleaning). I recently had a cleaning schedule and shared a concern with the hygienist and wanted Dr. Neary to take a look at my concern. However, Dr. Neary was again not in the office but I was assured she would "review my chart" after my visit. I am not quite sure what that was going to accomplish consider I wanted the dentist to physically examine the tooth. I called back the next week and scheduled an appointment to be seen by the dentist. The day of the visit, I received a call from the office that the dentist was not available and they would need to cancel my appointment that same afternoon. I am very disappointed in the number of times I have gone to the dentist recently only to see the hygienist. I shared my dissatisfaction with the new receptionist (who is rude and quick to judge). The receptionist replayed her version of the story to the dentist. Today, I received a LETTER OF DISMISSAL after 38 years of going to the same dentist stating that I was no longer welcome at the practice and would need to find a new dentist. However, if I had an emergency in the meantime, the dentist would still see me. So I called the office this afternoon and spoke to the very rude and distracted receptionist and asked to speak to the dentist. I was told I would have to go through the receptionist and that the doctor's decision to dismiss me from the practice when I shared my frustration with the numerous cancellations and the number of times the dentist is not even in the office to see patients when patients are told they are scheduled to see the dentist. So after about 38 years or so.... I learned today that if you inquire about a cancellation at this office or if the dentist believes you are questioning her practice in any way shape or form, you can be instantly dismissed from a dental office, without question and you do not even have the chance to know what the receptionist shared with the doctor of your behalf. And sadly, when I reached out to the office after getting the letter and asked to speak to the dentist of my practice for 38 years, I was told I would need to speak "through" the receptionist who sad worked there for about 1/38th the time I have been a patient. I am guessing this is why the long time (amazing) dental assistant and (awesome) hygienist are no longer with the practice as well.

I trusted Dr. Neary had 5 crown put on by her. Two crowns fell off twice. After the third crown fell off with the post I decided to see another dentist. The new dentist had to send me to a oral surgeon to remove them one tooth was drilled to the bone. I now have to get dental implants for all but one tooth. My one back molar she crowned doesn't even touch another tooth there is no need to even keep it. One tooth had a cavity with a crown attached to it. $7,000 of damage. Watch out!!
