Dr. Tyler Aholt is one of the most competent, pleasant dentists I've ever gone to, and given that I have a long-standing history of dental problems, that's saying a lot. This dentist goes the extra mile to listen to your concerns, explain his planned approach, and then competently carry it out. I would recommend him to anyone needing dental work.

My 6-year-old son had a check up today with Dr Aholt. He was anxious about the check up, and was scared/reluctant to have Dr. Aholt examine him. The doctor tried a couple of times, but became frustrated with my child and threw the tools down on the metal tray. This exacerbated the anxiety my son was feeling, and pretty much ended any chance of my child getting his exam. I would not recommend this dentist to work with children.
