Dr. Usha Hecht, DDS

Dr. Hecht is very trustworthy and professional. Dr. Hecht and her staff are wonderful, and it is always a joy to visit their office. Dr. Hecht always takes the time to educate me on dental concerns and is mindful of my jaw issues, allowing me breaks during procedures.

When Dr. Hecht was taking off my Maryland bridge, she knocked the piece of hardware into the back of my mouth. Dr. Hecht then proceeded to shove a finger down my throat to retrieve it, but instead, she lodged the Maryland bridge further back, forcing my body to convulse and swallow the bridge to no fault of my own. Dr. Hecht demanded I rush to the ER to get the hardware removed. I put my faith in her expertise, however, it wasn't until after I participated in a scan of my stomach that the ER doctor told me I never needed the scan. In one day, due to Dr. Hecht's error, I paid for a $945 stomach scan, I convulsed in her chair uncomfortably whilst swallowing a piece of metal, I had her fingers shoved down my throat, and I was forced to skip a shift at work, where I would've made money, instead of landing myself $945 in the hole.
