Dr. Vu is very knowledgeable and the whole team is very caring. Our son has anxiety about going to the dentist and they’re very good with him. The office is well-equipped and very kid-friendly.

Some details on our bad experience: Don't trust whatever the front desk manager and the dentist tell you on the cost estimate, because they will give you some misleading on your payment portion. First, they will say insurance covers most of it, then after treatment, they would let you pay in FULL(100% of the bill). That's a huge difference -- adjustment or pay 100%, it's not called an estimate, it's called assault! That's what happened to us. If your child goes there for teeth cleaning and treatment, please call your insurance company by yourself to verify everything they will do BEFORE your treatment, don't trust the front desk manager, she will NOT check with your insurance company. You are the one who sign and pay, she only asks for checks, not caring about clients! We ended up with paying 100% of the bill out of pocket! We have dental insurance and I don't know what happened between the dentist and insurance company's relationship. We just want to get rid of them, and move on.

Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry misleading and misinformed client on the treatment cost. The treatment was processed without my signature on consent of treatment plan. It caused assault. The front desk should have informed all the cost to clients, should not have hidden fees. Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry has record shows in its' system that treatment plan had never printed out and showed to client. On the treatment day, after the front desk copied my insurance card, and input all my insurance benefits information into the system, the break down details should show accurate cost prior to treatment. Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry goes after patient at 84 days after the treatment day, and requested client to pay for 100% of the treatment cost.

My two kids and I have been seeing dentist after dentist and finally we have found our dental home!! Dr. Vu is AMAZING! She has such a kind and comforting approach to my children. The whole team is well educated and very caring towards my children's needs. My kids will definitely be with this great clinic until they are to old and they kick us out!! :)

Great office! Great staff!!!! Very professional. I trust Dr.Vu's opinion very much. If she recommends my child gets fillings, we'll do it. It's obvious she knows what she's talking about it!!! It's also easy to get a same week appointment- they are even open Saturdays and some Fridays !

My 3 kids LOVE going to Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry!!! Dr. Vu came and looked at my son and daughters teeth!! She was so nice and informative and was willing to answer all questions that I had! They even offered to do sealants on my son the same day so we didn't have to come back later that week for a 15 minute appointment!! I completely trust her opinion on any treatment that she recommended. She's been a kids dentist for years and years so she clearly knows what she's talking about!
