Dr. Viraj Gadkar, DMD

I had a bad experience when I got an implant and crown at G & M Dental. The implant work was performed by periodontist Dr. Ali Hedayati and the crown was placed by Dr. Gadkar. The crown is sitting too low, leaving a considerable gap between it and the tooth above. Dr. G said it’s the best they could do and that 'as long as I can eat, that's what matters.' Also, I experienced excruciating pain when the abutment was being screwed back in as my gums had constricted over the implant hole. Dr. G didn't warn me nor offer local anesthesia--after he finished he said, 'that was some pressure, right?' in a callous manner.Having spoken to another dentist & periodontist, both confirmed the implant placement was not correct & my bite is not aligned properly. My new dentist says the crown could've been improved by raising it up to provide a better bite.
