The office is very helpful with insurance issues and coordinating/communicating with the dentist. Dr. Dougherty takes the time to explore issues and explain procedures. All visits and procedures were positive experiences. I always feel that I get an honest professional opinion. The procedures were performed with great care and follow up.

Dr Dougherty jr is THE BEST in the business. Had 5 root canals in my lifetime, Dr Dougherty jr did 2 of them . Nobody compares, simple as that. Dr Dougherty jr and his team deserve a 10 star rating!

I required a root canal & Dr. Dougherty was recommended by the dentist who had seen me. Dr. Dougherty completed the root canal taking additional time to clear calcification in the canal itself. I was impressed with his thoroughness as he cleaned the canal of residual nerve matter making more than just a few passes with the tool(s) used to accomplish this task. The procedure was painless for me.

biography

Dr. Dougherty practiced general dentistry for fifteen years prior to returning to post-graduate school for the specialty of endodontics.  The experience gained as a general dentist has proven invaluable in the overall assessment and treatment of those teeth in need of root canal therapy.
