Luckily my child survived
Dr Hennigar gave my son 1/20th of the antibiotic he was supposed to prescribe for his weight, for a mouth abscess and when I called the emergency line (because my son was still in a lot of pain) nobody returned my call for three days. When I attempted to discuss this with Dr Hennigar he said I was wrong and that my son was fine (he’s only fine because my son’s pediatrician prescribed the right dose). All I wanted was an acknowledgment of the mistake so other children would be safe in his care but instead I was asked to leave.This was a very traumatic experience and I sincerely hope the dentist and his staff will seek out additional training to ensure the safety of their patients in the future.
