I liked Medical Associate of the Shoals because having a local doctor of osteopathy nearby me, I prefer a DO over a MD. I enrolled with the DR as new patient, Dr was OK. but because of circumstances beyond his control, he was required to also cover a departing doctors workload. Became difficult to schedule with him and time of visit just too brief because of volume and numbers. So i transferred to another DO local to the area who did a more homeopathic style of practice i was accustomed to. I lost him due to circumstances beyond his control, and he was very Good. So i attempted to return to Medical Associate of the Shoals and sought another DO who had just started in hopes of a less BUSY Dr. That could not be done. Seems i had a outstanding bill unpaid BUT contractually i was not responsible yet i was assisting them in getting their payment. I recently got my medicare / medicaid plan that MAotS approved of. They still refused to accept me as a patient in their group. Questionable!
