There’s power in the blood
As the song goes, “there’s power in the blood.” So when I was heard Dr. Mooney say the test results came back as Multiple Myeloma, I was terrified. I automatically relied on my faith. It was very emotional to hear the “C” word, and no cure, I’d have to start chemo, so I was numb with this diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma. But I don’t own it. I don’t have MM. I am fighting MM. The staff is caring and great. They listen, schedule me for whenever needed, call me back for any reason, and they fight this “issue” almost as hard as I do. I’m forever thankful that God guided me to these wonderful people. Carmen, Dr. Mooney’s nurse, is a truly special person who genuinely cares for the patients she works with. These people are 5s in my opinion. And after 6 months of chemo, my numbers were good enough to be off it and I’m still off it a year later!
