I called early on Monday to find out if I needed an appointment to get lab work done at the office and when they closed. The receptionist told me to show up any time and they closed at 5 PM. I arrived at 3 PM and was told the lab was closed. So I took time off work to come back with my husband the next day. Not only did we find out they did not copy our insurance card (our insurance wasn't billed, we were) but the lab did not accept our insurance. At our previous visit Dr. Bobba specifically told us we could do our lab work at the office. When we spoke with the manager about the misdirection and lack of communication she said it was our responsibility to make sure our insurance was accepted by the lab not the office staff. No apology. How would I have known their would be difference if no one brought the possibility to my attention in the first place? Going to this practice has cost me more than it is worth in more ways than just one. And they made it clear it was my fault, not theirs.
