To many Red Flags
Seeing a therapist to manage anxiety meds. Provider provided a very low dose for start-up with a follow-up in one month. After 8 days I sent an e-mail asking to increase dosage and then a follow-up e-mail days later. ~11 days after my first e-mail I received a response from my provider. This did not help my current situation and the e-mail, was what I consider a flippant reply (personal opinion). During our follow-up session I brought up this issue of being ignored and was given an apology, but then the following proceeded: 1) was told work email showed the wrong box. When confronted on the time period was informed that 2) they had a family emergency and was in the ICU and proceeded to describe their frustrations. 3) Doesn’t like others to have access to her e-mails during this time. 4) Was told several times I should just call next time they don’t answer. Lack off empathy, accountability and deflection; the things that are necessary to get mentally healthy were not there.
