I slipped & hurt my foot, the next day, I went to urgent care. They x-rayed the foot, told me it was broken, placed me in a hard shoe & told me I should be seen by a specialist ASAP. I called IORA, explained the situation. 2 days later, I get a text saying the dr. hadn't been able to look at the x-ray, 9 days later, text that they hadn't seen the results yet. I texted pictures of my swollen, black & purple foot. Out of desperation, I found a podiatrist & he took x-rays. 4 fracturs & 1 break! He sent me for a boot instead of the shoe so I'd be able to walk. Podiatrist explained that I should've been seen by an orthopedic surgeon up front. NOT ONCE has IORA reached out to inquire about my condition! And yet, 2 months later, text to see is they could schedule a CT of my chest?!
