After 46 years with Alston,Aeris dental, I'm done.

Started with Dr. Alston 46 years ago when he was fresh out of school and I was 25. I had a very bad experience as a child and he was very compassionate. I followed him over the years to his current place on Pantano. I'm now 71. Visited them yesterday to re-seat a crown that had come off. Everyone there was new since my last visit (2yrs). The Dr. was nice enough. HOWEVER on checking out, was charged $223 just to have it re-cemented on!!!!!! There was a time when Dr. Alston didn't even charge for that! Later, after reading current reviews, I became aware that Aeris dental has gone Corporate! More interested in volume of patients served and bottom line. SO disappointed! I guess I'll have to search for a 'LOCAL' family dentist that has not bought into the corporate culture!!!!!!!!!!
