Catalina Eye Care

In the summer of 2023, I had my cataracts removed and lenses placed in my eyes. I'd worn glass since I was seven. I was now seventy. For the first time in my life, colors appeared brighter, edges crisper. My world was no longer framed with the rims of my glasses.Dr. Polonski was my surgeon, Dr. Weintraub, my optometrist, both extraordinarily competent and kind. The desk staff, nurses, Surgery Coordinator Ashley, up to the anesthesiologist who told me jokes were lovely. I feel deep appreciation for this large and positive change in my life from a large, competent, and caring organization.

My experience with Dr Weintraub has consistently been negative. Her inability to connect in a friendly way is obvious. Her judgmental attitude is unacceptable and unnecessary!
