Avoid this practice
I went and saw Bridget Shaw for a common skin condition. Not only was she rude and rushed, she didn’t really act concerned about anything I had to say. She said she’d call in a medication and left. Imagine my surprise when she called me later that day and said she was not going to call in the medication and maybe I need to see a specialist. So I called my previous dermatologist in Phoenix who saw me regarding the same exact issue. Not only did he confirm that the prescription was the next in line treatment, he also didn’t understand why she refused to treat. I tried to call the practice to report the behavior but since I never heard a word from anyone, I can only assume they don’t care.

Adelina Matatova misdiagnosed superficial melanoma
I can understand Adelina Matatova missing something during the 45 second full body exam she gave me but after I pointed out a concerning blemish, she took a quick look and dismissed it as a blood vessel. Fortunately any confidence in her ability quickly eroded away during my visit and I got a second opinion. The second dermatologist immediately recognized it as something concerning and took a biopsy. Superficial melanoma! I had it surgically removed a week later.
