Do not go here if you have solstice insurance. They will demand out of pocket payment (even if it is covered by insurance) and overbill your insurance and solstice's appeal process depends entirely on the practice responding to the insurance provider, which of course the provider has no incentive to do after cashing in on overbilling. I confirmed prior to the visit and after the visit with my insurance that x-rays, consult, and cleaning were all covered by my insurance. However, miramonte insisted it wasn't covered and I was not provided a specific amount until checkout. I reluctantly agreed to the x-rays, but as soon as the hygenist mentioned that the consult and future cleaning would also be extra I ran out of the room before anything else could be charged. Making matters worse the x-rays taken were poor quality and unusable by my next dentist. Until my appeal is resolved with insurance I have to pay for a whole set of xrays out of pocket.
