The doctor is very nice and tries. The staff is not. They are over burdened and have no time. When I’ve called to try to find out why the MRIs the Dr. ordered 3 weeks ago have not been sent to my insurance yet, the advocate became rude - told me that the business is merging with 3 others and she has 200 calls per day to deal with. Guess what - not my problem. I’m the customer. Meanwhile no MRIs to discuss w/ the dr. At my follow up next week because of their internal business problems, there will be no MRIs to discuss so the doc can’t understand the severe pain i am in. Prior to this, it took 3 weeks to call in my scrips from the 1st visit and then the label was wrong. Again it’s not the Dr. it’s the overworked staff. Dr. Bailey is such a good guy. I can tell. The business- which is actually what really matters, is not good at all. Which means neither is the overAll care. I regret switching my care to this group.

We waited over a month to see Dr. Cornidez on a referral from her primary care physician. My family member had her first appointment yesterday. A brand new Tucson resident, my family member has been receiving treatment for CRPS in the US and abroad for over 7 years. Yesterday, Dr. Cornidez told her that her case is "too complex" for him to treat - even though Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is supposedly one of his specialties - and that she should check into a detox center. Obviously, Dr. Cornidez either had not read her medical records or had discounted them as part of his "too complex" conclusion. Showing no interest in her case, the doctor made no attempt to help her find another pain clinic or empathize with her situation. I was not overly surprised by his indifference, as Dr. Cornidez also treated my husband prior to his spinal surgery and exhibited much the same nonchalance and bland disinterest. We will never accept treatment from Dr. Cornidez again.
