Just don't go here. Having no psychiatrist at all would be a much better situation for you, no matter who you are or what your situation is

Too difficult to work with
I had 3 appointments with the same clinician. one of them the clinician decided to cancel because I wasn't able to complete the entire session, even though I paid my co-pay and filled out required paperwork. I was than charged a cancelation fee. It's taken me over 2 weeks to attempt to schedule another appointment just to be able to get my medication and they are wanting new patient paperwork within a 6 month period and are also randomly switching me to a new clinician. It's difficult enough to be able to speak with a stranger regarding mental health difficulties and to have them just willy nilly decide I have to see a new clinician is BS. The office staff all seem very nice. They just have a terrible process for just about everything.

I made an appointment to see this office for some general anxienty from both from the Pandemic and East Coast and moving to Grover Beach. The apointment process included a very detailed and long questionnaire. The questions sort of alarmed me as it appears this office deal with mostly drug addicts and alchololics. I had asked to be seen only by their top MD / Neurophysiologisg as I felt he could be a great asset for my anxiety and possibly other medical issues. Upon getting an appointment set up and waiting two weeks the office called to tell me I'd be seeing someonw that is not listed on their practice group (seemingly a much less qualified staff member). In the process of the appointment confirmation the day prior to my schedukled appoinment the staff member treated me as if I were a drug user or alcoholic. This makes me feel this is a type facility that cares more about a cattle call type service instead of a facility that truely cares and attempts to understand a new patient
