The Roxbury Institute is a horrible institution that caused cystic acne and deep scarring. They are now refusing to give me a refund unless I sign an NDA, a Waiver of Liability, and remove my review. I went to Roxbury to work on textured skin and old scars (nothing cystic). Michael Bontekoe must’ve seen dollar signs looking me because he prescribed an intense regimen with 5+ topicals and a pill of Spiro. I spent $700+. They didn't check my vitals before prescribing anything, and I have hypotension (low blood pressure.) The Spiro caused my low blood pressure to drop, causing dizziness and lightheadedness. Roxbury claimed that the Spiro wouldn't affect my levels and tried to discourage me from speaking to my primary doctor about my concerns. I'm now left with a face full of acne and scarring that will take thousands in treatments and years to clear up.
