So I been a patient since 2020. To start, 3 weeks trying to get a refill. Coming to find out. They never sent my psychiatrist a message. Then the other day. They called me to confirm my appointment. Then they call again around 4pm that they needed to cancel my appointment. Due to insurance problems. I ask y are you letting me know so late. Ask to talk to a manager, was told no. Ask to send my therapist a message on what was going on. Was told they couldn’t. Started to have a panic attack, n they told me there was no nurse or psychiatrist to talk too. So the next day, a hour before my appointment. They called me to let me know. If I didn’t pay out of pocket. I couldn’t be seen. I ask again to talk to a manager. Was told it wouldn’t change anything. So I paid, I didn’t even get time to figure out the insurance problem. I’m sure they could’ve let me know way before and not less than 24HR. Mental health is a big issue. There’s patience that would have broke down. Without no one to help.

I am a licensed attorney at law with a highly esteemed reputation in the legal field. I have been a patient for approximately 2 years or more. My primary psychiatrist has been amazing. However, I’ve seen multiple other providers who have treated me very poorly and refused to treat my well-established diagnosed conditions. I do not recall a single time this facility responded to a pharmacy refill request or medicine correction fax. When I call requesting to correct their medication errors, omissions, (which happen often), or for a simple refill their staff requires an additional unnecessary appointment. The Manager claimed that “they are not allowed to give refills for any medication for more than 90 days without an appointment.” However, the 90-day refill law in California does not apply to medications psych meds, such as antidepressants and antipsychotic medications.
