My wife made an appointment for some chronic back pain with Dr Koumas-she was initially told by “Shannon” that she would be seeing the doctor as requested. When she arrived at the office (22401 Miurlands # A), “Shannon” met her at the front door and requested she fill out some routine paperwork. My wife asked “Shannon” what the approximate wait time would be to see the doctor. “Shannon” then stated that my wife was not seeing the doctor but the PA instead. My wife informed “Shannon” that was not what she was told over the telephone. “Shannon” then became verbally irate and told my wife she was not misinformed and that she was told she was going to see the PA. “Shannon” became more hostile and scolded my wife for not arriving at the appointment earlier to fill out the paperwork. “Shannon” then stated that maybe my wife “ wasn’t a good fit” for the office. My wife then agreed and left the office. “Shannon” is unprofessional, rude, and extremely obstinate. She was horrible.
