Treatment

I was treated at thalians mental health center..he was my psychiatrist. No help whatsoever..my 2 stays at thalians were 1 yr each. Back in 1981 and 1984...all the sessions I had with him were complete silence. Thalians was considered top rate then....I had good insurance..each stay lasted until my insurance ran out. The facility gave me no discharge plans..the first stay I was given sodium amytal everyday for one year...then at discharge the medication was discontinued. .I received no advice concerning withdrawal. My second stay I was given chloral hydrate every day for a year. Same scenario...I was kept at the hospital until my insurance ran out..1 year later. I received no assistance from the hospital or the Dr to assist me in withdrawal. .
