In the aftermath of a hernia operation, I found myself with a weird skin condition that caused flare ups of itchy hives on various parts of my body. My GP provided me with a list of dermatologist offices to contact for a diagnosis. I chose Skin and Beauty Center in Northridge, based on their reviews. I was given an appointment for the next day(!) and met with Dr. Erica Moran. She was generous with her time and assessed my situation correctly; the Steristrips used to close my incisions had caused a histamine reaction and I could treat the rash by taking an over the counter antihistamine. It worked! I would certainly recommend both her and the Skin and Beauty Center.

Dr. Erica Leavitt is an excellent dermatologist, and I had a very positive experience during my first visit. The office is well-organized and clean, making it easy to schedule an appointment. The entire office staff was outstanding—professional, pleasant, and a joy to interact with.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. Friendly staff and I was seen right away. Dr. Leavitt explained what needed to be done at my next appointment.

This office runs very smoothly. It's a lovely, large and very clean office. It's easy and fairly fast to do your paperwork. Once I handed it in to the front desk, I was in a room within 5 minutes, then seen within 5 minutes. Everyone is friendly and efficient. They took care of my procedure and poof! I was on my way in record time. My husband has been a patient for a few years and has had the same experience.

I took my 100 year old mother there for her annual skin check up. The staff was gentle and quick at removing a growth on my mom’s face. They knew exactly what to do with the least amount of trauma to her system. I felt very satisfied and comfortable with them.

Dr Navi listened to my concerns and was able to prescribe treatment. After talking to or seeing other doctors, he was the first to identify my specific problem and prescribe treatment.

I am Dr Navi’s patient. He is terrific and very knowledgable (Pay no mind that he looks 20 years old!) I’ve not waited in the lobby for more than 10 minutes either. Big plus. The staff really went to bat for me when insurance declines a specialty drug, and it worked! I recommend this group whole-heartedly .

Entering all my health info was a pain, but the staff was friendly so that helped. Dr. Davi was pleasant and knowledgeable so the assessment of my skin issue was done quickly. I left feeling good that my issues were not serious and will be easily remedied.

Skin check every 6 months by Dr. Coleman...I've been going to him for YEARS and I love his bedside manner. He detected a basal cell carcinoma on the left side of my nose AND I never even saw it. So it was taken care of very quickly

The whole visit took about 15 minutes. No waiting.

They are using latest technology for you to give your medical history and personal information. They were very professional. Didn't have to wait too long to see the doctor. Doctor Navi was knowledgeable and addressed the issues I brought up. Appreciated that he checked on Authorization and was able to do the procedure needed while I was there.

Everything went well. Doctor Navi and staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking questions and they were good at explaining things.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Dr Coleman is quite thorough. He listens to any concerns you may have and addresses them with a clear explanation.

I had Mohs surgery by Dr. Leavitt in The Northridge office. She takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and answers questions in layman’s terms. I felt well cared for in a comfortable environment

I've been seeing Dr. Coleman for more than five years. He is so thorough, so knowledgeable, caring and friendly. I'm always taken in on time. He is very patient and takes his time to answer any and all of my questions and concerns.

I just finished my third treatment with the IP Laser and I love my results. The Northridge staff and Dr. Kim are professional and very respectful. I highly recommend this location. I also take my daughter there for her scalp psoriasis and they are just as awesome to her.
