Rushed day of surgery.

I am active and have had two orthopedic injuries in the last three years,so I have had surgery here twice. Great surgeons and staff both times. The anesthesiology consults were rushed on the day of each surgery. There was no opportunity to consult with the anesthesiologists before hand. My surgeons had said this would not be the case. As a result, I was given the wrong medication on one occasion. The problem could have been avoided with proper communication and prior consultation. Five stars for my surgeons but poor ratings for organisation and the anesthesiologists at this center. I would use this facility again but I would insist upon earlier communication with anesthesiologists.
