First time with the Retinal Consultants and was truly impressed at the entire process, each staff member I encountered, and provider Dr. Michael Ammar! All were professional and very compassionate!!! I want to call out Dr. Ammar for his bedside manner, his thoroughness during the exams, and his ability to provide information and education in a manner that was truly appreciated! His attentiveness and listening to concerns and questions was exceptional!!! Lastly being given the ability to have all tests completed during the one visit was extremely efficient! Thank you

I took my Mother in law to see Dr Ammar and his staff was excellent and he he was fabulous! We have since been to both Carlsbad and Poway offices abd can say this a GREAT place! Dr Ammar is working with Her to fix her eyes! I highly refer them if needed!

Upon entering the office every single staff member made me feel valued, and comfortable. Dr. Michael Ammar performed a very thorough exam that provided me with all the information about my retinal tear. He was direct, but very thoughtful with his word choice and I knew I could trust him at the end of that first examination. He made sure that all my questions or concerns were answered. Dr. Ammar performed corrective laser surgery to remove the potential damage that my retinal hole could create if left untreated. I'm writing this (with my sunglasses on) note of gratitude and recommendation the same evening that I underwent my laser surgery. Dr. Ammar and the staff at Retinal Consultants are amazing medical professional. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Great staff, numerous tests, Dr London meets with you, goes over the tests, examines you, and answers any questions. Start to finish, out in less than an hour!

RCSD has provided excellent care for me on several occasions. They made time in the schedule for an emergency visit.

Retina Consultants has been my eye care provider for at least 7 years. First Dr. Paul Tornambe provided treatment for my Diabetic Retinopathy with medications & laser surgery. Dr. London has very successfully followed suite and maintains my vision @ a very acceptable level withbabsoutely no pain.

The Doctor answered all of my questions in a courteous manner. The staff were friendly and was not kept waiting long.

I met Dr London 6 years ago when I had a serious eye emergency. I called my friend who is an optometrist, and he told me to call Dr. London. He was able to see me quickly, and I was thoroughly impressed by his exam, knowledge, and recommendations. More recently, i had shingles that was impacting my eye, and the urgent care doctor told me to see an ophthalmologist asap. I called Retina Consultants, and one of his associates (Dr Hanneken) was able to accommodate me quickly. The office staff was friendly and efficient, and I am extremely grateful and thankful for the care they provided to me.
