After being patients for 15 years, my family and I will never go back. I called to make an appointment to talk with my doctor about getting a new eye drop that might replace my reading glasses. The woman who makes the appointments told me she could not make an appointment because my insurance only allows for eye exams and eyeglasses/contacts. "No problem," I said. "I'm going to pay cash for the appointment and the medication." She said it didn't matter and told me I could talk to a supervisor if I wanted. I said, "Yes," and she transferred me to a number that was answered by VM. I immediately called back, reached the same scheduler, and told her not to transfer me to VM. She transferred me to a number that was actually answered. This woman told me that if I had never been to LoBue and was paying cash, I could have the appointment. But a 15-year established patient willing to pay cash? Nope. Find another eye care clinic who will treat YOU as a person and not as an insurance policy.
