Upon joining this health care group I was assigned a Nurse Practitioner for general medicine doctor. I expressed my desire to be assigned to a licensed GP doctor as soon as possible. Over 2 years of seeing the NP, I felt my requested needs were not being addressed to my satisfaction and finally after requesting an assignment to Kaiser Medical I was given a good GP for my primary care. She has consistently done an outstanding job of providing my needs and has genuine concern for my health. Dr. Dana Howard is the best General medicine-providing doctor I have ever been under the care of.However, the Behavioral Health Department has serious pitfalls with which I am presently entangled. Lack of interaction with my mental health doctor has severely affected me emotionally as well as physically with serious side effects from medication I should have never taken! I'm on doctor #4 I believe. My previous doctors tend to quit working here. It has made my experience here very poor.
